Our story begins sometime around 1946 when Mr. Francis Gardner would open his shop "Gardner Plumbing & Heating" at our exact location. But it wasn't until 1967 when our grandparents, Bob and Bea Norman, would purchase his business and begin our family's journey. In 1980 Gardner Plumbing & Heating would install one of Michigan's first closed loop geothermal systems. We would go on to successfully install hundreds of geothermal systems in our area over the next several decades. After our Grandpa Bob passed away in 1996 our father, Mark Cummings, would take over the family business. It would then become more known as "GPH". But it wasn't until 2006 that we would change the business name to "GeoMasters" to stand apart and help better reflect our focus; Geothermal Heat Pump Systems. Over the decades many of our family's second and third generations have worked here at one time or another. Upon our father's passing in 2017, both of his sons, Joel Cummings and Joseph Flint, would take over his business thereby making it third generation family owned and operated!
